Ben Franklin Real Estate Sold- Sale Of Business To Follow By Cheryl White Sale of the Ben Franklin Building at 63 Main Street in Middlebury was completed on January 15, 2009. Larry Duffany, whose family has owned the property for 65 years, was the seller. The new owners are Chan Li, her husband Den Ho, and Chan’s brother Andy Li, all Middlebury residents. The new owners will also purchase the Ben Franklin store business. This transaction will take place in March with Larry Duffany assisting with the transition.
[ more ]Kendall Wyckoff To Compete At US Figure Skating Championships Kendall Wychoff Age 16 is the daughter of. Lee and Chris Wyckoff and sister of Cambria, age 9 of Panton. Kendall is currently ranked 77th in the world, and 24th in the US. Last year, Kendall competed at the 2008 US Figure Skating Championships in St. Paul, MN placing 6th out of 12 skaters at the Novice level. After a disappointing short program, Kendall rallied for a great free skate, earning second place technical marks. in April, she represented the US at the Triglav Trophy in Jessenice, Slovenia, placing second to Yea-Ji Yoon of Korea. in July, named to the US Figure Skating Developmental Team.
