And, in that enclosure you were king or queen of the world. You dreamed, planned, played and imagined your way to desert islands, scaled castle walls, and survived time and time again to be the hero. Or, maybe you were peaceful there, read, wrote and even played music? Ensconced in your secret place, your childhood never ended; your club house was fun and a very special to be a child. [ more ] Local Dentist Honored By Mike Cameron Middlebury’s Dr. Brian Layton Saltzman D.M.D., PC has been recognized by The Consumer Research Council of America as one of Americas Top Dentists. Dr. Saltzman has been practicing dentistry for almost 10 years and has been practicing here in Middlebury since Decenber of 2007. He is a strong proponent of early childhood dental care and providing children with information and encouragement to form lifelong oral health habits. On Friday, Feburary 5, 2009, Dr. Saltzman was again recognized in the City of Springfield Mass for his work in the No Tooth Left Behind Program. Before establishing his practice in Middlebury Dr. Saltzman was an associate dentist in Springfield and treated children and disadvantaged persons who were in need of care but were not covered by health insurance. He was honored by the City of Springfield. Mass. as a “Home Town Hero.” [ more ]
