The Voice got a look at the new vehicle on Saturday, March 6th 2010 during a training session a the fire station. KME Representative John Cameron Jr. was on hand to demonstrate the capabilities of the new KME “Panther”. The new unit was manufactured in Nesquehoning, P.A. It is capable of delivering 1500 gallon-per-minute operational capacity and has storage of 1000 usable-gallons. [ more ] Porter Hospital Sees Improvement in 2010 CMS Quality Indicator Scores During the first five months of its current fiscal year, Porter Hospital has recorded significant improvements in its “Core Quality Measures” scores for the major diagnostic groups reported annually by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
