Tigers Ground Red Hawks 27-6 Now 6-0

On a night that saw difficult footing on soggy turf and a steady second half rain, the Champlain Valley Union High School Red Hawks knew right from the start that they were in a battle royal with the Middlebury Union High School Tigers Varsity Football Team.  Both clubs were highly touted going in with undefeated Division 2 league records.

Assessment Week Takes On Many Levels At Vergennes Union High School

Even to the casual observer it was easy to see that it wasn’t business as usual at VUHS this week. If you were passing any group of students in the hall you could hear conversations that included “Are you ready for testing?” “Which college are you going to on Tuesday?” or “How much in pledges have you brought in? Our Morning Meeting has over $ 1,000.00.” VUHS students spent October 4-6th involved in assessment of skills, goals, and community involvement at many different levels and venues. Quick Response Quells Middlebury Condominium Blaze

Middlebury firefighters responded to a structure fire on Monday morning October 4th 2010 at 59 Otterside Court in Middlebury.  Firefighters arrived to find the unit fully involved in flames on the  inside upper floor and quickly attacked the building inside and out in order to protect adjacent units.
