Mother’s Day Cards By Local Artist To Benefit WomanSafe

WomenSafe is pleased to announce that Klara Calitri’s artwork, Spring Fugue, will grace the 2011 Mother’s Day card in the 10th Annual Local Women Artist Series.
    Klara has considered Vermont her chosen home since coming to Trinity College in 1940. She earned her B.A. at UVM and Masters Degree at Cornell University. While pursuing her Doctoral
Studies at Columbia University she spent much of her time teaching languages and history at Columbia, College of the City of New York and a number of high schools. During that time she also became a professional artist.  [ more ]
