Full House Full Heart and Full of Fun: Sharing Memories with Viola Sears By Cookie Steponaitis For eighty-eight years Viola Sears has had a measuring stick for success. “When the house was full,” she shared, “and the chatter at the table was coupled with the patter of feet running in the halls, and there was a hot meal on the table, it was a wonderful day.” She chuckled and added on, “I guess you can say I raised not only my family, but a lot of other kids over the years, yup a lot indeed.” [ more ] Donald Keeler is New Addison County Sheriff By Mike Cameron The Frank A. Mahady Court House in Middlebury was the site last tuesday, July 3rd, when Don Keeler was sworn in as Addison County Sheriff. He has been interium sheriff since the passing on long time sheriff Jim coons. Addison County Side Judge Frank Broughton did the honors.
