Middlebury Tigers Fall To Hartford In Semi Finals By Marcie Bolton Talking with a few fans pre-Friday night football game about the match-up between the Hartford Hurricanes and the Middlebury Tigers, I asked them to predict the outcome. Two of the three fans quickly came to their conclusion that Hartford would win. One fan extolled upon Middlebury’s virtues before she admitted the undefeated Hurricanes would win. In addition to appreciating the“discipline, respect and dedication to a cause" that his time in service to his country taught him, Bub believes in supporting local veterans and working to better the communities in which we live. He believes by strengthening our ties to each other, we honor the freedoms that cost so many lives.

It is a time to gather, share, reflect and be aware of just how much was sacrificed. “ Of all of the skills he learned during his service from 1969-1972, N.D.M. felt that “discipline and the ability to act on orders” was the set of skills that he carried the most with him into his civilian life. Also active as a Mason, N.D.M. wanted to salute and honor all those who served and continue to serve America today. [ more ]
