Meet Some Mighty Fine Fowl Serama Chickens By Cookie Steponaitis Serama Chickens are nicknamed the “Pixie Chick” and are new to Addison County agriculture but ancient when it comes to domesticated fowl. The miniature Serama Chickens originally hail from the Malaysian state of Kelentan and are thought to have originated centuries ago from small chickens that were a gift from the King of Thailand. June is typically the month for selection of officers for the upcoming year. In order to do this, the club does various raffles and asks area businesses for assistance.
