Goodrich Awarded $32 Million In Military Contracts Senator Patrick Leahy, D announced Thursday, June 28, 2007 that the Goodrich manufacturing facility in Vergennes is being awarded $32 million in U.S. Army and Navy contracts. A $6.9 million U.S. Army contract will go toward construction and installation of Integrated Vehicle Health Management Systems kits and hardware to support the monitoring of the Army’s Blackhawk helicopter fleet currently in action in Iraq and Afghanistan. After all, the family has made the trip three times in the past four years. One might think that the newest and youngest member of the Connor family to compete, Erin, would know the ropes and already be packed. One can certainly know for certain that Vermont is in good hands as Erin Connor sets off to represent VUHS at the Miss National Teenager Scholarship Competition from July 18-July25th. Erin currently hold's the title of Miss Vermont Pre-Teen and has earned the right to represent the state at a national level. [ more ]
